I researched a lot on different kinds of strategy job adverts on the internet and I have few options and among that I have picked up 3 jobs that are best suitable for me . The jobs that I have picked are all focused on the specialization of marketing and advertisement. Since being a business student and my major is Marketing so I have picked up the jobs that are best suited for me.

The jobs that I preferred are as brand strategist , communication strategist and digital media strategist . To get a job as a strategist you must have a clear knowledge about the prospects of planning and designing strategy for the company to meet its required goals and objectives. To get a job as a strategist a candidate needs to have both technical and non – technical skills as well as handling pressure in crisis situations also certain special skils which are listed below :

ü Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.

ü Ability to convey complex issues and solutions logically.

ü Advanced knowledge of Microsoft office package like Excel, Access and analytical tools such as SQL, SPSS, and Minitab.

ü Proficiency in various data mining methods like clustering, neutral networks, etc.

ü Excellent use of business integrative sheets such as spreadsheets and strong analytical skills .

ü Strong background of IT and other business related softwares .

ü Fluent in talking and diplomatic.

I am thinking of applying for the job of communication manager. This job is suitable for me because not much of an experience is required to do this work . To prepare ourselves for the future perspective we need to gain more experience through working . All three jobs that I have selected meet the criteria , most jobs only require bachelor’s degree as their minimum criteria so I do qualify for the job .The jobs also demand certain knowledge of Microsoft word , excel , powerpoint and other analytical tools .

Thus after completing by bachelor’s degree from London Metropolitan University I will be apply for one of the jobs so that it can enhance my career and help me fulfill my dreams of becoming an entrepreneur.

1. What do you want to do when you have finished this course? What skills do you want to improvein the next year in order to help you reach your goals?

After finishing the course I wish to start my own business with some of my friends For that I need to develop my interpersonal , oral and verbal skills as I am weak in proper communication with my co-partners . There are innumerous prospects that I have to improve on to reach my goal in the future . It’s a long way to the top but I have to take it step by step and one at a time . Few things I want to improve are as follows:

· Substantial knowledge and research skills

· Manage conflicts within the organization

· Motivate my co-workers

· Proper knowledge about it and soft wares like spreadsheets etc
